Interests
My research interests include Poisson and symplectic geometry, Lie theory and integrable systems. An introduction to modern day Poisson geometry can be found in the book:
- M. Crainic, R.L. Fernandes, and I. Marcut, Lectures on Poisson Geometry, Graduate Studies in Mathematics 217, American Mathematical Society, 2021. (see also the AMS Web Page where you can order a copy).
My general area of work is Differential Geometry and you can find an introduction to the subject in my lecture notes:
- R. L. Fernandes, Lectures on Differential Geometry, World Scientific, 2024 (see World Scientific webpage, where you can buy a copy)
