International Centre for Mathematical Sciences
The International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) in Edinburgh has recently launched the inspiring and ambitious “Mathematics for Humanity” programme, which supports a range of mathematical initiatives with a particular focus on developing countries.
I am a Through this programme, ICMS has supported IMM Pakistan students in attending a CIMPA School on Applied Number Theory held in Vietnam, and discussions are currently underway for further, more substantial forms of collaboration.

PakistanI undertook two international trips in the summer of 2024. I traveled to Vietnam for the CIMPA School on Applied Number Theory and to Italy for a school and workshop on dynamical systems.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
Thanks to the support provided by ICMS 10 students have this year the opportuntiy of a fully-funded exchange programme in two high-level educational institutions and to network and learn with other students from all over the world, bringing about fruitful scientific and personal discussions with other mathematicians and pass
