ADMISSION
Algerian and International Students
All you need to know
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or have completed Three (3) years of university studies in Mathematics.
Admission to the program is based solely on merit, and the following criteria will be applied:
- Academic performance.
- Results of the admission test.
- Quality of the application file (Recommendation letter, CV, etc.);
- Quality of responses during the interview (only for pre-selected candidates).
Applicants are required to provide official academic documentation demonstrating that their qualification corresponds to the level and learning outcomes recognized within the Algerian education system.
Accepted documents include :
Official Diploma / Degree Certificate
The final certificate proving you completed your studies. Examples:
- Bachelor’s degree certificate
- Master’s degree certificate
Academic Transcript
A document from your school/university that lists:
- Courses taken
- Grades
- Credits
- Possibly GPA or grading scale
This helps them compare your learning achievements with Algeria’s system.
Diploma Supplement (if available)
Common in European universities. It explains:
- Level of the qualification
- Content of the program
- Academic results
- The grading system
This is helpful for international equivalency.
Course Descriptions / Program Syllabus (occasionally requested)
In case deeper comparison is needed, they may ask for:
- Curriculum details
- Learning objectives
- Course hours or credits
Students applying to join the IMM First year Program (Master 1)
- Must have completed at least three years of a university mathematics program (examples : obtained a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics)
- Must be among the top 20% of their cohort.
