OVERVIEW
The International Mathematical Union (IMU) is a global non-governmental, non-profit scientific organization devoted to advancing mathematics and fostering collaboration among mathematicians worldwide. It brings together national mathematical societies and academies from around the world to support research, communication, and education in mathematics
Through its Commission for Developing Countries (CDC), the International Mathematical Union (IMU) supports initiatives that strengthen mathematical education and research worldwide. IMU has contributed to the International Mathematics Master (IMM) by funding academic activities, including volunteer lecturer visits to host countries such as Pakistan, and by sponsoring the involvement of international faculty members.
Sahibzada Waleed Noor (Brazil) had received an VLP grant in 2020
Prof. Charlene Kalle (Netherlands) gave a course in Qualitative Differential Equations in November 2023.
Prof. Frank Neumann (Italy) taught a course in Complex Analysis in 2024.
