Ilpo Laine

Ilpo Laine was a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Joensuu, Finland. Since 2009 he has a Professor emeritus position at the University of Eastern Finland (Joensuu campus) and has remained active in research. His expertise is value distribution theory and complex differential equations. As emeritus professor, his interest has expanded to also cover complex difference, delay-difference analysis and their tropical analysis counterpart.
