ABOUT ME
Educational Background and Interest in Mathematics:
I completed my bachelor's degree at University of Peshawar. My interest in mathematics began in high school when I studied conic sections. I was fascinated by the elegance and complexity of conic sections, including ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas. The geometric properties and theorems related to these shapes, as well as their applications in fields such as physics, engineering, and astronomy, particularly intrigued me. This early exposure to conic sections sparked a deep and lasting passion for mathematics, which I have continued to pursue throughout my academic career.

MORE INFORMATION
Discovery of IMM:
My professor at university , Dr. Akbar Zada, informed me about this program and suggested that I reach out to Wajid Ali, a senior from IMM who is now at the University of Liverpool. Wajid Ali guided me through the entire process.
I have decided to pursue an advanced study of mathematics under the guidance of a diverse international faculty. I aim to transition from merely learning mathematics to actively engaging in mathematical research and practice.
IMM Experience:
My experience with IMM has been very positive. Every individual, including teachers, is highly cooperative and friendly, and assistance is available at any time and from any location. I participated in IMM in 2023 at COMSATS, during its final year, and fortunately, I remember all the teachers and tutors from that period. Notably, Tutor Dawn Van De Weem and Sohaib made the classes very relaxing.
During the program, we undertook four courses:
Real Analysis with José Manuel Conde Alonso, who was known for his pleasant and cheerful demeanor.
Dynamical Systems taught by Melkior Ornik and Stefano Luzzatto, where the first approach was more geometric, and the second involved a unique study method where students solve exercises independently without traditional lectures.
Commutative Algebra with Diellara Martinelli, Giovanni Placini, and Vokmer Walker.
Functional Analysis with Waleed Noor and Alfonso Sorrentino, who made the classes particularly enjoyable.
At LUMS, we have taken five courses thus far. All of the instructors are very friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere. Among them, Charlene Kalle, Danielle Angele, and Spella Spenko, in particular, make the classes enjoyable.
Professional Goals:
My long-term dream is to delve into research in my area of interest. I understand the importance of finding a balance between my research endeavors and returning home, especially to my beloved province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so that I can give my very best to the people there.
Key Accomplishments:
I am proud to share that I was the gold medalist of my batch during my bachelor's studies at Peshawar University. Additionally, I am actively involved in a math volunteer foundation, where I am dedicated to serving and making a positive impact on our community. Furthermore, I successfully passed the test and interview for both the IMM program at COMSATS and the IMM program at LUMS.Additionally, I undertook two international trips in the summer of 2024. I traveled to Vietnam for the CIMPA School on Applied Number Theory and to Italy for a school and workshop on dynamical systems.
