ABOUT ME
Educational Background and Interest in Mathematics:
Before joining the IMM program, I completed my M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. My interest in mathematics was significantly influenced by the exceptional teaching methods of my esteemed professors, Dr. Muhammad Akram and Dr. Mobeen Munir.

Discovery of IMM:
In 2022, a friend of mine, Hafiz Muhammad Bilal (a PhD in Mathematics from COMSATS University Lahore), informed me about the IMM program and encouraged me to apply. Although I was admitted to IMM-COMSATS, I unfortunately had to withdraw due to health issues. The following year, I saw the IMM-LUMS program advertised on LUMS' social media platforms, applied again, and got admission in LUMS by the grace of ALLAH/God almighty.
IMM Experience:
I joined IMM-LUMS in 2023, and my experience has been excellent so far. I've gained a lot from the program, particularly enjoying the Advanced Algebra (Galois Theory) course taught by Peter Stevenhagen. His teaching style is notably distinct; he is always willing to discuss the lecture in depth after class or during his free time, which sets him apart from other instructors.
Professional Goals:
My long-term professional goal is to advance my understanding of mathematics and to teach the subject. I aspire to explore the scientific knowledge of mathematics by pursuing a PhD abroad. Upon completing my studies, I plan to return to Pakistan to teach mathematics at the university level.
Key Accomplishments:
I am particularly proud of my achievements in education. Being admitted to LUMS was a significant milestone for me, and receiving a gold medal for my master's degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, is a testament to my hard work and dedication. I am grateful to Allah/God Almighty for providing me with these remarkable opportunities to advance my studies at IMM-LUMS.
