ABOUT ME
Educational Background and Interest in Mathematics:
Before joining the IMM program, I developed a deep interest in mathematics that began in high school, fueled by my fascination with shapes and numbers. This passion led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. My undergraduate studies provided a solid foundation in mathematics, further deepening my interest and preparing me for advanced studies.

MORE INFORMATION
Discovery of IMM:
I found out about the IMM through a friend's recommendation. I decided to apply because I was excited by the prospect of exploring new areas in mathematics and wanted to deepen my understanding of pure mathematics. The opportunity to engage with advanced topics and work with experts in the field was particularly appealing to me.
IMM Experience:
I had a great experience at IMM, participating from 2019 to 2021. The program greatly enhanced my understanding of various mathematical concepts. I particularly enjoyed the course on Dynamical Systems taught by Professor Stefano Luzzatto. I’m also grateful for the guidance and commitment of both Professor Luzzatto and Dr. Douglas Coates, which made a significant impact on my learning and growth during the program.
Professional Goals:
My long-term professional goal is to obtain my PhD. I am focused on advancing my knowledge and expertise in mathematics through my current research and studies.
In addition to obtaining my PhD, I aim to contribute to the field of mathematics through research, teaching, and collaboration. I aspire to engage in innovative research projects, publish influential papers, and participate in academic conferences. My goal also includes mentoring students and contributing to the academic community by sharing my knowledge and experiences. Ultimately, I hope to make a significant impact in my area of specialization and inspire others in their mathematical pursuits.
Key Accomplishments:
I’m particularly proud of several achievements. Recently, I published a paper titled "Fixed Point of Interpolative Contraction on Metric Space Endowed with Graph" and presented a conference paper titled "Fixed Point Results of Hardy-Rogen-Type Contraction in Generalized Metric Space via Interpolation." Additionally, this summer, I joined a project on Quantum Computing and participated in both the Qiskit Challenge organized by IBM and the Qiskit Summer School, earning badges and certifications for both.
