ABOUT ME
Educational Background and Interest in Mathematics:
My journey began in Physics, where I was introduced to the topic of quantum field theory. I realized it harbored numerous mathematical mysteries and unsolved problems, which prompted me to transition from physics to mathematics. To broaden my mathematical knowledge, I enrolled in a one-year program in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences. The program offered a diverse range of electives spanning mathematics, physics, data science, and statistics.

Discovery of IMM:
When I was at AIMS Ghana, one of my teachers, Dr. Angela Tabiri, who was a tutor in Algebra for the first IMM batch, told us about this master's program. I checked the program and noticed that it provides a solid background in all the core areas of mathematics. Since I come from a physics background and lacked some knowledge in those areas, the program was a perfect fit for my needs, which motivated me to apply.
IMM Experience:
I was enrolled in the program in the year 2023 at LUMS. The International Mathematics Master's program has been enriching. I've had the opportunity to meet exceptional classmates and professors. All the teachers at IMM program were really great but two instructors stand out to me the most, which are Prof. Stefano Luzzato because his unique method of teaching, he has a unique set of lecture note which are in the form of a problem set and it is the job of the students to solve all those problem build their course step by step, lemma by lemma and theorem by theorem, that experience was the peak of mathematical thinking. The other instructor Prof. Abdelghani Zeghib what set him a part is his challenging problem set, I really enjoyed exploring and solving the exercises that he gave us in differential geometry, also his method of teaching was pretty chaotic in good way, he keep jumping from a chapter to another back and fort to build a an overview on how the whole course is interrelated.
Professional Goals:
Obtain a PhD in mathematics, secure a post-doc then a permeant research position.
Key Accomplishments:
Since I am physics background one of my proudest achievements is that I have successfully to switch to pure mathematics and secure a PhD in Geometry and Topology after only one year.
