Aisha Mahmood
Dr. Aisha Mahmood volunteered for the IMM Program conducting several sessions on “Mathematical Thinking and Problem Solving” with the first batch of IMM students.
Dr. Mahmood possesses a unique educational background and diverse professional experience spreading over more than two decades. After completing her PhD in Engineering Education (2015) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, she joined Namal College, Mianwali (April 2015-May 2017) as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
Currently, she is working at the Department of STEM Education in University of Education, Lahore, as Assistant Professor of (Engineering) Education (April 2018 to date). Dr. Mahmood has also been engaged online as a consultant of “Engineering Education Research & Practice” and as a certified trainer of “TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) Practitioner level 1”.
Dr. Mahmood’s current & future research-cum-practice interests are AI in Education, Big Data in Education, Learning Engineering, Makification, Learning/Instructional Technologies, Social and Emotional Learning, Life Skills, Value-Based Education, Mathematical Thinking, Design Thinking, Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), Students’/Teachers’ Personas, Blended Learning, Effective Teamwork, Continued Professional Development (CPD) and Change Models.
