IMM
The IMM is designed to be a global sustainable network of institutions who share our vision. Your institution can become a part of this network by hosting the IMM.
The IMM has evolved into a unique and successful model which incorporates some “non-negotiable” aspects which are fundamental to its identity. At the same time, it has the flexibility to adapt to different cultural and institutional contexts.
IMM has partnerships with a number of institutions which are involved in promoting mathematics training and research worldwide. See the partners page for a full list of the organizations we work with.
Host institutions can apply to join the prestigious International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) Affiliated Centre programme, or the European Mathematical Society (EMS) Emerging Regional Centre of Excellence (ERCE) programme.

BUSINESS
MODEL
The IMM works on a franchise/accreditation model which guides the sharing of responsibilities with the host institution.
The IMM is responsible for recruiting international faculty, providing curriculum guidelines, overseeing the teaching model and guaranteeing the overall quality of the programme.
The host institution is fully responsible for all direct costs including international faculty visits, student scholarships and local administration (although IMM can assist with fundraising).
