IMM student Arooj Jamil is accepted for ICTP Diploma Programme in Trieste Italy

“I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in 2018. After that, due to financial problems, I wanted to start my next education on my own. And was also looking for a fully funded scholarship. But I didn't get it and I started teaching in a college. In 2019, my Bachelor fellow informed me about this program. I applied and was selected.

The IMM program is a great opportunity for students who want to learn true mathematics. I'm happy to become a part of this program. Throughout this academic year, I have learned from many cooperative and talented professors and tutors. I admire their understanding, enthusiasm, commitment and sincerity with the profession. All the members of this program are very supportive and encouraging the students.

At the end of this program, I applied abroad for further studies and I got selected for the ICTP Diploma Program (2021-22) at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy.

I'm really grateful to Prof. Stefano Luzzatto and Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed for making this wonderful program in our country. It is a great opportunity for the talented students who want to learn mathematics in a good environment without any financial fear. My special thanks to Prof. Stefano Luzzatto, Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed, Dr. Douglas Coates. Ms. Tijana Delic and the IMM team for their cooperation and help in this program and applications.”
