The 2025 Summer Internship Programme in Italy starting soon!

10 students from both IMM Pakistan and Algeria cohorts have been officially admitted for a summer internship programme in two prestigious scientific institutions in Italy.

Students are leaving in mid-July and will return to Algeria and Pakistan (in most cases) to continue their in-house programmes. IMM Italian team is excited to offer them support in partnership with Scuola Matematica Interuniversitaria (SMI) in Perugia and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) located in Trieste. They will both hsot the students and involve them in their summer courses as well as in research, tutoring and mentoring activities, while also engaging in other events and initiatives around Europe.

We feel proud to have been able to offer 10 students the opportuntiy of a fully-funded exchange programme in two high-level educational institutions and to give italian students the opportunity to interact, study and bring about fruitful scientific and personal discussions with other mathematicians from faraway.

This programme unites mind representing an unique practice that might shape the scientific community for the better. Thanks to the support of SMI and ICTP, IMM advances quality and inclusive education.
